COCKTAILS & MOCKTAILS

As you probably know by now, I love hosting. For our wedding, we actually registered for the stunning glass drink dispenser (link at the bottom of the page) — and it’s still one of my favorite gifts we received. It’s perfect for everything from a summer batch of iced tea to a winter cocktail.
Over the years, I’ve learned that making individual cocktails for guests can turn into a full-time job. You spend half the night shaking, pouring, and stirring instead of actually enjoying the moment.
That’s why I’ve become a firm believer in batch cocktails — elegant, easy, and stress-free. These are the drinks I reach for when I want something beautiful, seasonal, and guaranteed to get the party going.
1. Big-Batch Espresso Martini with Vanilla & Sea Salt Foam
Your new signature winter cocktail — bold, creamy, and utterly indulgent.
Ingredients (serves 8–10):
2 cups vodka (Tito’s or Ketel One)
1 cup Kahlúa or coffee liqueur
2 cups cold brew concentrate
½ cup simple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Optional foam topper:
½ cup cold foam creamer (unsweetened or vanilla)
Sprinkle of cocoa powder or shaved dark chocolate
To serve: Stir the base in a pitcher and chill for 2+ hours. When serving, shake individual portions with ice for foam or pour over ice and top with cold foam. Garnish with 3 coffee beans and a light cocoa dust.
Pair with: Dark chocolate truffles or espresso brownies.
2. Sparkling Clementine & Thyme Spritz
Like winter sunshine in a glass — bright, citrusy, and effortlessly chic.
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh clementine juice
½ cup thyme-infused simple syrup
1 cup vodka
1 bottle prosecco
Fresh thyme and clementine slices for garnish
To serve: Combine juice, syrup, and vodka ahead of time. Add prosecco just before serving for a soft, bubbly finish.
Pro Tip: Rim glasses with a mix of sugar and orange zest for sparkle.
3. Pear, Elderflower & White Cranberry Punch
Light, floral, and subtly sweet — a winter alternative to sangria.
Ingredients:
1 bottle dry white wine
¾ cup St-Germain elderflower liqueur
1 cup pear nectar
½ cup white cranberry juice
Pear slices, white cranberries, and rosemary for garnish
To serve: Mix in a clear pitcher, chill for 1 hour, and serve over ice.
Mocktail version: Replace wine with sparkling white grape juice.
4. Apple Brandy, Maple & Ginger Punch
A sophisticated take on spiked cider — smoky, sweet, and cozy.
Ingredients:
2 cups apple cider
1 cup apple brandy
½ cup ginger liqueur (like Domaine de Canton)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ cup lemon juice
Cinnamon sticks + thin apple slices
To serve: Serve chilled in coupe glasses or warm in a copper pot.
5. Blackberry, Thyme & Gin Fizz
A moody, elegant cocktail that looks like velvet and tastes like luxury.
Ingredients:
1½ cups gin
1 cup blackberry purée (fresh or frozen berries blended with sugar + lemon)
¾ cup lemon juice
½ cup thyme syrup
1 liter tonic or sparkling water
To serve: Mix the base and chill; add bubbles right before guests arrive
Style Tip: Garnish with a single blackberry and thyme sprig on top of crushed ice.
6. Cranberry, Vanilla & Blood Orange Sparkler
Feminine, festive, and photogenic — like a glass of holiday magic.
Ingredients:
2 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened)
1 cup blood orange juice
½ cup vanilla vodka
¼ cup Cointreau or orange liqueur
1 bottle sparkling rosé
To serve: Mix everything except the rosé ahead of time. Add bubbles just before serving.
Garnish: Sugared cranberries and a thin twist of orange peel.
7. Rosemary Limoncello Fizz with Honey Foam
Bright, herbal, and just sweet enough — a daytime showstopper.
Ingredients:
1 cup limoncello
½ cup gin
½ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup rosemary-honey syrup (simple syrup with rosemary + honey)
2 cups sparkling water
To serve: Pour into glass dispenser with lemon wheels and rosemary. Optional foam: honey cold foam spooned on top.
8. Dark Chocolate, Bourbon & Orange Cream Punch
Like a dessert cocktail — warm, silky, and slightly boozy.
Ingredients:
1½ cups bourbon
½ cup orange liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
2 cups whole milk or half-and-half
¼ cup cocoa simple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon and espresso powder
To serve: Gently warm on low and serve in small mugs. Garnish with shaved chocolate and an orange twist.
Hosting & Styling Tips
Showcase drinks in clear pitchers or glass dispensers — they’re too pretty to hide.
Add edible garnishes — rosemary, citrus, pear slices, cranberries.
Use matching glassware for a polished setup (coupe for espresso, highball for spritz).
Tie a velvet ribbon around the base of your dispenser for a subtle, festive detail.
